Overview

Rate My Aura ("the App") is developed by Futuron Inc. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

Photos you upload: When you use the Discover or Challenge features, your photos are sent to Google Gemini AI for aesthetic analysis. Photos are used solely to generate your aesthetic scores and recommendations. We do not store your photos on any server.

Aesthetic scores: Your aesthetic scores, history, and profile data are stored locally on your device using SwiftData. This data never leaves your phone.

Onboarding preferences: Style goals, color vibes, and room types you select during onboarding are stored locally on your device to personalize your results.

No accounts: Rate My Aura does not require you to create an account. We do not collect your name, email, or any personal identifiers.

Third-Party AI Service

Rate My Aura uses Google Gemini AI to analyze photos and generate aesthetic scores. When you submit photos for analysis:

• Photos are sent to Google's servers for processing
• Google processes the images to generate aesthetic assessments
• Photos are analyzed and discarded — they are not stored by us or used for training
• Google's use of this data is governed by their own privacy policy

AI Consent

Before using photo analysis features, the App requires you to explicitly consent to your photos being processed by Google Gemini AI. You must tap "I Agree" to proceed. This consent is requested during onboarding.

Data Storage

• All aesthetic scores and history are stored locally on your device using SwiftData
• Share cards are generated on-device and shared via the standard iOS share sheet
• PDF reports are generated on-device and are not uploaded anywhere

Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any personal identifiers
• We do not use analytics or tracking services
• We do not sell any data to third parties
• We do not store photos on our servers
• We do not track your location

Children's Privacy

Rate My Aura is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
